When Abalone Jesus was found in an antique shop in rural Indiana, it was clear that all of His gilding had been stolen; scraped away by non-believers. After painstaking restoration work, He is restored to what is believed to be His original Glory.

Careful application of gold and silver paint and glitter now give Him the lustre that had been stripped away. This was a labor of love, guided by Divine inspiration.
